Östafors is surrounded with wonderful nature, both for biking, walking and going around by car. The emidiate area is a nature reserve, where you will find some unusual birds in a untouched scenerie. Nearby you´ll have view over the valley of Sibbarpsdalen, and the gravelled road that winds trough it, well suited for a tour on bike or on foot.

















Right next to the house flows the river of Holjeån, wich is is excelent fishing waters, above all flyfishing. We carry 

fishing permits. This is an area with a rich wildlife. Among the birds you may spot is the white-throated dipper and grey wagtail. Two, in Sweden, very rare birds, that you are very likley to find here in Östafors. 

The river has a varied  temprament with both calm and more vivid passages.
