The Holje river flows only a couple of meters outside of Vävboden and by that you can, when the level of water allows, reach the lake Ivösjön by canoe. The water level is regulated further upp in the water system to meet privat interests. 

The lake Ivösjön is Skåne´s largest lake and it is perfect for canoe adventures. It is also possible to visit the island Ivö with a car ferry that reaches Barum on the west side of Ivö.

Ivösjön makes a great excursion any time of the year with it´s beautiful nature and fishing. 

A view over the lake Halen. The lake invites you for many activities; for example you can rent a canoe, take a swim, fish or camp.

Along the cycle lane between Olofström and sölvesborg/Bromölla you pass trough a railway tunnel built in the begining of the 1900s.
